About The Celebration

ABOLITION DAY  a significant  cultural event in Mansfield, offering attendees  a day  of  choices including educational s and artistic moments.

The festival was founded by  Debra Britt , founder of the National Black Doll Museum of History & Culture and Beth Danesco, Executive Director of The All Stories Theater Company ,  activities  are held during the Columbus Day weekend.
This year’s festival will take place from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2018, on  the South Commons , 6 Park Row in Mansfield.

The festival celebrates  Mansfield’s  diversity, as reflected in the remarkable array of attendees, music, food, and crafts at the festival .
