The Virtual Experience
The Virtual Experience
Like many other community organizations, The NBDMHC met with big changes and challenges in 2020. As a result, we had to close our original brick-and-mortar location in Mansfield, MA, and relocate temporarily to the internet.
As you’ll see, we have taken all the things we’ve always done “on-site” and put them online. This includes presenting live workshops on doll-making and Black cultural history, offering virtual tours of past exhibits, hosting live events with special guests, and of course, providing Black doll fans a chance to visit many of their favorite pieces from our 7000+ doll collection.
As we find a new home, our work goes on and we hope you will join us! Please, explore and enjoy The Virtual NBDMHC from the comfort and safety of your home beginning here!
